Good morning everyone. I started working on this painting last night, and realized when I woke up this morning that I didn't like the background color....note to self, never paint backgrounds in the evening, unless sufficient light is present.... Well this is not even close to being done, but I thought I woud post it just to show you all the work involved. I plan on putting this up on ebay when its finished. I want to really dirty it up and make it more primitive looking and just leave it simple like. Not sure what life its going to take, but I just love the faces. Wow, a far cry from what I have been painting....its weird isn't it sometimes when you paint differently on one painting from the next....it kind of like someone or something is taking over you. The photos are in direct sunlight so thats what the streaks are. I am lucky enough to paint directly in front of a window....not like my last place which had me in a dungeon of sorts...basement.
