The first step is to draw or simple shapes on the paper. It can be watercolor paper, but for the sake of this simple tutorial, use any paper you like.
You may layer the paint to show depth or do as simply as you like.
The beauty of this exercise to to get the watercolor paint on the paper.
Let yourself go and just use your mind as a guide for the paintbrush.
After the paint has dried, now is the fun part. I use small black markers with very fine tips to draw whatever I choose I think the paint looks like. It can be simple or elaborate. Use your imagination and just create!
