Here are the jack-0-lantern rice krispie treats I made for my daughters class. After thought i should have used orange icing. I went to her school and toured all of the older class rooms, well actually only about 5, after I heard there was twenty more to go I snuk out....haha. The kids were all dressed up so cute.

Newest Painting

Heres the newest painting! "Lady of the Night".. She is painted with acrylic paints, and a little collage paper around her coat. She's coated with beeswax and buffed to a wonderful finish. The beeswax adds so much texture and deep color. Its 16"x 20". I think I will keep this one for myself , she will look so great framed in a dark black finished frame. Cheers!

In Honour of Apple Season

Here is my newest painting. It's in honour of apple season in Southern Ontario. I have baked three apple pies in two weeks, and my cheeks are getting rounder by the minute. It

coated in beeswax to give it that smokey look. Enjoy! Crunch!

Art Journal Page 1

Hi,
I started my art journal today and I am really getting into it. Its so much fun to just experiment with colors and techniques. I would encourage it so much for any artist. I was given some wonderful tips on how to start my journal by using an old book, from a friend at Creative Souls. Here is her blog. Thanks so much! I went straight down to the mission store in my town and purchased a used hardcover book for $1.00. My first page is shown, and although i haven't finished it, its colorful, and fun, and I can't wait to keep layering.
